iono Documentation - Licenses
The licenses index page displays a list of all the licenses on the customer's account. Each row displays useful information about the license such as:
- Product - The product that the license is for
- Created - The date that the license was created on
- Status - The current status of the license
- Expires - The date that the license expires
More information about each license can be viewed by clicking the View link. The Downloads link goes to the same page but this has been added for usability since some users did not know where to obtain downloads from.
Viewing a License
After clicking the View link on the licenses index page the customer will be shown further details of a license. If a license agreement was specified when adding the license, the customer will be forced to view and agree to it before seeing the details of the license. Details shown about the license include:
General Details
- Product and Product License name
- Invoice ID
- Date the license was created
- License Status
- License Key
Restrictions
- Date the license expires
- Hostname/IP that the license is bound to
- The maximum number of installs allowed, and if not unlimited, the total number of installs performed
If you have enabled the Allow Customers to Edit License option in the Settings these will be input fields to allow your customer to edit the hostname and IP that their license is restricted to.
Downloads
If the license being viewed has downloads available to it, they will be displayed at the bottom of the page with a link to access the download.
